How Marvel Studios Will Reunite the Avengers in Phase 5 and Beyond
The Avengers are the most iconic superhero team in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but they have been through a lot of changes and challenges in the past few years. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, the team lost some of its founding members, such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow, while others went their separate ways, such as Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye. The remaining Avengers, such as Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel, have been busy dealing with their own problems and threats, such as the multiverse, the Skrulls, and the Eternals. So, how will Marvel Studios bring the Avengers back together in the future? What new threats and allies will they face? And who will be the new leaders of the team?
AVENGERS LEVEL THREAT
One of the possible ways that Marvel Studios will reunite the Avengers is by introducing a new cosmic threat that will require the heroes to join forces again. This threat could be none other than Kang the Conqueror, a time-traveling villain who has been teased in several MCU projects, such as Loki, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and The Marvels.
Kang is a powerful and ambitious warlord who seeks to conquer different timelines and realities, and he could pose a serious challenge to the Avengers and the multiverse. To stop him, the Avengers will need to recruit new members from different corners of the MCU, such as Shang-Chi, the Eternals, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men. These new heroes will bring new skills, perspectives, and conflicts to the team, making it more diverse and dynamic than ever before.
DR DOOM
But due to the current allegations of the Kang actor, Marvel Studios is planning to introduce
Dr Doom as the new big bad.
One possible way that Dr. Doom can be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is by having him be a former colleague and rival of Reed Richards, who was working on a project to explore the Negative Zone, a parallel dimension of antimatter and cosmic energy. However, during an experiment, Doom’s face was horribly scarred by an explosion, and he blamed Richards for sabotaging his work Doom then fled to his homeland of Latveria, a small European country that he inherited from his late father, a Romani king3 There, he used his genius in science and magic to create a suit of armor and a mask to hide his disfigurement and enhance his abilities. He also became the absolute ruler of Latveria, imposing his iron will on his subjects and building a loyal army of robots and soldiers
Dr. Doom’s introduction could be a problem for the MCU heroes, as he is one of the most powerful and dangerous villains in the Marvel Multiverse. He has a personal vendetta against Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four, and he will stop at nothing to destroy them and prove his superiority. He also has a global ambition to conquer the world and impose his vision of order and progress, which often puts him at odds with other heroes, such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the X-Men, and the Avengers
Another possible way that Marvel Studios will reassemble the Avengers is by exploring the aftermath of the Secret Invasion storyline, which will be adapted in a Disney+ series of the same name. Secret Invasion is a comic book event that revealed that many of the Earth’s heroes and villains were secretly replaced by shape-shifting aliens called the Skrulls, who had been infiltrating the planet for years. The series will star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, the Skrull leader who befriended Fury in Captain Marvel. The series will also feature other MCU characters, such as Monica Rambeau, Maria Hill, and Quake. The series will likely reveal that some of the Avengers and their allies have been Skrulls all along, creating a sense of paranoia and distrust among the heroes. This could lead to a civil war among the Avengers, similar to the one that happened in Captain America: Civil War, but on a larger scale. .
The Avengers will have to find out who they can trust and who they can’t, and work together to stop the Skrull invasion and restore peace.
NEW TEAM
A third possible way that Marvel Studios will bring the Avengers back together is by introducing a new team of young heroes who will inherit the legacy of the original Avengers. This team could be the Young Avengers, a group of teenage superheroes who are inspired by or related to the Avengers in some way. The MCU has already introduced some of the potential members of the Young Avengers, such as Cassie Lang (Ant-Man’s daughter), Kate Bishop (Hawkeye’s protégé), Wiccan and Speed (Scarlet Witch’s sons), Ms. Marvel (Captain Marvel’s fan), and Ironheart (Iron Man’s successor). The Young Avengers could be mentored by some of the older Avengers, such as Falcon (the new Captain America), War Machine, and Scarlet Witch, who could guide them and train them to become the next generation of heroes. The Young Avengers could also face new threats and challenges that are relevant to their age and era, such as social media, diversity, and identity.
These are some of the possible ways that Marvel Studios will reunite the Avengers in Phase 5 and beyond. The Avengers are not just a team, but a family, and they will always find a way to come together when the world needs them.
As Nick Fury once said, "There was an idea, to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more, to see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could." The Avengers will always be that idea, and they will always be Earth’s mightiest heroes.
