Loki THE GOAT
Hey, welcome to TheFanTheory today Imma talk about the Marvel series that follows the adventures of the God of Mischief after he escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. I'm a big fan of the show and I think it's one of the best things that Marvel has ever produced.
Is Loki the strongest character in the MCM?
Here's what I think about Loki's character arc and why I think he's the strongest character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Loki is a complex and fascinating character who has gone through many changes and challenges throughout his appearances in the MCU. He started as a villain who wanted to rule Asgard and Earth, then became an anti-hero who helped Thor and the Avengers, then died at the hands of Thanos, and then came back to life in an alternate timeline.
In Loki Season 1, we see him face a new threat: the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organization that monitors and controls the flow of time and eliminates any variants who deviate from the sacred timeline. The TVA captures Loki and forces him to work with them to stop a rogue variant who is killing their agents and creating chaos across the timeline. This variant turns out to be another version of Loki, a female one who goes by the name Sylvie. Loki and Sylvie team up and go on a journey across different worlds and eras, trying to find out who is behind the TVA and what their true purpose is.
Along the way, they develop a bond that is more than friendship, but less than romance. They are both lonely and misunderstood, and they find comfort and acceptance in each other. Loki's character arc in the new season is about finding his identity and his place in the universe. He realizes that he is not defined by his past actions or his destiny, but by his choices and his free will. He learns to trust and care for someone else, even if that someone is himself. He also discovers that he is not alone, that there are many other Lokis out there who have different personalities and abilities, but share the same essence. He meets some of them in the Void, a place where all the pruned variants end up.
There, he encounters Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, and Alligator Loki, who help him escape from a monstrous creature called Alioth. Loki also confronts the man behind the TVA, a mysterious figure who calls himself He Who Remains. He is the one who created the sacred timeline and the TVA, and he claims that he did it to prevent a war between his variants, who are all powerful beings who can manipulate time and reality. He offers Loki and Sylvie a choice: either kill him and unleash the multiverse, or take his place and rule the timeline.
Loki tries to convince Sylvie to spare He Who Remains and find another way, but Sylvie is driven by her anger and her desire for revenge. She kills He Who Remains, and kisses Loki goodbye, before sending him back to the TVA. Loki is heartbroken and confused, and he realizes that the TVA has changed, and that no one recognizes him anymore. He sees a statue of He Who Remains, who is actually a variant of Kang the Conqueror, a notorious villain from the comics. Loki is left alone in a new and dangerous reality, where the multiverse is unleashed and anything can happen.
Enter Kang
Kang the Conqueror is one of the most formidable and feared villains in the Marvel Universe. He is a master of time travel, who has used his advanced technology and genius intellect to conquer and rule various eras and realities. He is also a man of many faces and identities, such as Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, Immortus, and Iron Lad. He is the ultimate enemy of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, who have clashed with him countless times across history and the multiverse.
One of the most intriguing aspects of Kang’s character is the existence of the Council of Kangs, a group of his alternate versions who have formed an alliance to protect the timeline and their own interests. The Council of Kangs operates from a citadel outside of time, where they monitor and manipulate the events of the multiverse. They have also created a legion of robotic duplicates called the Kang Corps, who serve as their agents and soldiers. The Council of Kangs has often come into conflict with other Kang variants, such as the evil Kang Prime, the young Iron Lad, and the female Ravana.
Personally I don't think this the last we see of Kang, this is just a glimpse of what a treacherous and malevolent Villain he is.
Season 2
Loki reunites with Mobius and the TVA, who are hunting down Sylvie and the variants of He Who Remains, the creator of the sacred timeline. Loki is suffering from a phenomenon called “time slipping”, which causes him to warp uncontrollably across time. He manages to find Sylvie in the future, where the TVA is being evacuated as the Temporal Loom goes critical.
But Loki being Loki finally manages to control his time slipping in an "infinity war-esque" episode and finally finds a way to expand the temporal loom without hurting Victor Timely.
But yet chaos looms, and Loki managed to do nothing after doing everything.
So he finally confronts his biggest fears:- Being Alone, and dying without life's Glorious Purpose. He dons his armor with his Viking representation of Loki suit with the dark armor and glorious Horns, and holds every damn timeline together pulls them to his throne. Setting his purpose like Concrete. This act of selflessness makes him "He Who Remains".
I think Loki is the strongest character in the MCU, not because of his physical or magical powers, but because of his resilience and his adaptability. He has survived and overcome many hardships and obstacles, and he has always found a way to reinvent himself and to grow as a person. He has shown courage, compassion, humor, and intelligence, and he has proven that he is more than a trickster or a villain. He is a hero, a leader, and a legend. He is Loki, and he is glorious..
I think it would be unwise to assume that this is the end for Loki, it is merely the Beginning like time it is a loop only that the loop stretches to infinity and back, and plus isn't Loki known to Return from the impossible time and again.
Time to meet Loki in the next Avengers Movie the Multiversal war
Avengers V Kang!!
